About Autodesk Education Suite for Entertainment Creation 2010 (13 Month Subscription)

As of August 15th 2009 Autodesk has bundled 3ds Max® 2010, Maya 2010, Softimage® 2010, MotionBuilder® 2010 and Mudbox™ 2010 into the Autodesk® Education Suite for Entertainment Creation bundle. This powerful 3D suite will now replace all individual student single box copies of the titles included.
Includes full versions of the following software solutions:
Autodesk® 3ds Max® 2010 software
Autodesk® Maya 2010 software
Autodesk® Softimage® 2010 software
Softimage was not included in the initial shipment because it was not initially available. Customers can download the trial version online and use their serial number for their full Creation Suite they purchased to get the full version when they install it.

Maya for Games—gives each student the opportunity to experience what it’s like to be an associate environment artist in a game studio, learning Maya through the techniques established by professionals. Once they complete the curriculum, students should have a portfolio-ready environment.
Maya Fundamentals: Visual Storytelling and Design—includes concept art, floor plan sketches, and character studies, as well as chapters on design, color, and composition.
